We started taralivento in 2019 because too many businesses were getting advice that sounded impressive but didn't actually work when applied to their specific situation. Our team came from corporate finance roles where we saw the gap between theory and what actually helps a business grow day-to-day.

How We Actually Got Here

The idea came from a conversation over coffee in early 2019. Three of us had just left our positions at different financial firms, frustrated by the same thing—clients needed practical guidance, but the industry kept selling them complicated packages they didn't understand.

We decided to try something different. Instead of building a traditional consultancy, we'd focus on understanding each business first. What worked for them already? Where were they stuck? What did they actually need versus what looked good in a presentation?

By mid-2020, we had twelve clients, most of whom came through referrals. That told us we were onto something. People appreciated straight talk about what would help their specific situation rather than generic growth strategies.
